👋 Hey, Nikki here! Welcome to this 🔒subscriber-only 🔒 User Research Round-Up with the world’s most creative, helpful, new, and informative user research-based articles, podcasts, events, books, and academic resources sent straight to your inbox.Â
Hello there! I have returned in one piece from the world of snow and skiing — it was absolutely breathtaking, and I am already excited for next season!
Anywho, before we get to our regularly scheduled programming, I just wanted to chat quickly about my user research membership because (I’m biased, but…) I think you should join 😉 and one of the big reasons I think that is because of the transformation I have seen!
Many researchers often find themselves wrestling with a mix of things, and maybe you’ve experienced them too:
Doubts creeping in, even when you thought you felt confident with a certain method
Career paths feeling a bit fuzzy and unstructured
Moments where you just want to yell at your manager because they have no meaningful feed
You’re eager to make a difference but tired of feeling like your efforts go unnoticed
And let's not forget that occasional existential crisis, wondering why you ever became a UXR in the first place (seriously, who hasn't dreamed of escaping to manage a bookstore?)
But I’ve seen that once people join the membership, they level up their researcher game. They're excited to try new methods, brush off setbacks, and dive headfirst into revamping processes and docs. Workshops aren't terrifying chores anymore but opportunities to craft beautiful solutions from their insights.
That's why I created the User Research Membership—to inject fun back into your research journey, kick impostor syndrome to the curb, and shine a spotlight on the impact you can have on your team and beyond.
Join us, and let's turn those doubts into victories, those hidden efforts into well-deserved recognition, and those career dreams into reality. Embrace the journey, embrace the growth, and make some magic happen together.

Accessibility in Focus ft. Maddalena Zampitelli (Podcast) by UXR Minds Podcast
I am super into all things accessibility and inclusivity right now because it is an area I am not as confident or comfortable with, so I am trying to really learn more about it. Like all of the UXR Minds episodes, this podcast is a fantastic deep-dive into Massalena’s journey with accessibility and inclusivity and how she uses it in her work. I really recommend it if you are interested in this topic!
